In 2023 BNBSL formed a new Pre-Farm division in our softball program for first and second graders. This is an introductory level designed to develop basic throwing, catching, and hitting skills. The goal is to have fun so the children enjoy the introduction to softball with their family and friends. The team will have weekly coach pitched games with neighboring towns and focus on preparing them for Farm Division.
Parents of first and second graders may choose to play baseball instead and should contact the board if they wish to discuss which program is most appropriate for their child.
Players need only to have basic equipment to play and should come prepared with an appropriate glove. BNBSL provides appropriate bats and balls to each of the teams. Players will receive a team jersey and hat which should be worn to each game.
